Cairnbaan Cup-and-Ring Markings

On a hill above the Cairnbaan Inn there are several rock outcroppings with cup-and-ring markings. A group of them are enclosed within a metal rail fence and another is a ways west of the enclosure.

Within the enclosure are several individual outcroppings with numerous markings. The photos on this page are from the largest rock-sheet which has nearly 100 different markings.

This sheet is particularly interesting in that some of the rings enclose more than one cup. Also several cups have grooves radiating out from them.
